| Here we will try and list some of the common features of clothes of that period, this is a work in progress. | |||||
| Hats | Many varieties need to be made of felt, no plastic, wicker etc. can get from western stores and online. |

| Shirts : | The common shirt appears to be the collar less shirt, double breasted, bib front in working colors. Shirts did not have collars until after 1900, collars where button on. |

| Suspenders | Suspenders were first invented in 1822 should only be leather or similar button connectors, no metal connectors. |

| Pants : | 1. No zips, metal work, belts, suspenders are held by buttons on the waist of the pants |

| Shoes/Boots:
|
Pointy boots appear to have only have entered the scene after 1900, having originated in Mexico. Cowboy boots where based on the military-style boots of the 1870, round toed, flat heeled, developing into high heeled and points for stirrups on the horses. |
